Modern Methods in Molecular Pathology
Units: 4
Quarter: Au
Location:
Time:

This class surveys the major methods used to approach molecular questions in basic research, and illustrates how these methods are used in the investigations into human disease that are performed in the laboratories of participating faculty. Understanding these techniques provides the foundation that students will use to then construct their own investigations into research questions--a process they will later use in classes, in their minor proposition, and throughout their thesis research.
